Grackle with a peanut

Today was a cloudy cool day, in the evening it began to snow lightly. With daylight savings time it usually means spring the spring birds have arrived as well. Mother nature on the other hand did not get the notice as winter seems to continue. After dinner I did get out for a short walk to the lake and fed several birds including this grackle. The red wing blackbird came twice for a peanut and landed on my head to let me know he was there.
