Pairing Up

Again there were many birds out on the lake today. As well as lots of common mergansers which I recorded two days ago, I noticed a few of these hooded mergansers.

I dare not go close for fear of scaring them away, so this image is cropped and I ran it through Topaz Sharpen AI.

I could erect a hide, but I'm not sure how I can get closer, maybe dig a trench!
