A breezy walk
This morning I was in Catton where Ann P took me around the route she has devised for the Singing Walk in the Haltwhistle Walking Festival. It's an excellent route, although today we had to battle against strong winds and avoid falling over in one or two slippery slopes.
It was quite mild.
We met various dog walkers. Ann knows nearly everyone in Catton so we had one or two stops to chat.
Later, we met Paul (in the photo). A few years ago, actually in 2010, he made prints from one of Mum's paintings and we sold them at the Corbridge Chamber Music Festival.
It was lovely to have a chat, especially since one of his offspring and her family have moved to Shapinsay in the Orkneys. It's a tiny island and not much visited by tourists.
This evening it was the Tynedale Photo Group and I had a Travel Panel to present. Six of us showed prints. We had such a convivial evening with lots of chat and questions from the audience. I haven't laughed as much since......Saturday evening!
My bad hip is playing up a lot now. Time to give him a name. Any suggestions?!
