Waiting Game

I’d arranged to pick up one of my chums today as she had a pre-op appointment at the Western General. It was a filthy drive up, torrential rain and flooded roads. We had lunch in a nearby café and then I spent most of the afternoon in the hospital waiting room. Luckily I had my book to read.
Lidl shop on the way home. Sleet at Howgate but thankfully no snow. Mr P had prepared sweet potato soup and a courgette risotto.
