Swim time

Off out for another Levada walk. After much research of local buses (which turned out to be few and far between), we opted for a taxi ride up to the start of this walk. Levada do Moinho took us off down through forests, a showground (we may have been a little of course) and local agricultural land. There’s so much greenery here. The north side of Madeira is where the water is - the Levadas help distribute the water and feed the drier areas. Our walk finished with a steep descent down a road right to our house. Ooof, tough on the knees!
After a cuppa and a rest we walked on down to the coast and I had a swim in the ‘natural’ rock pool. It was a bit chilly getting in but a lovely swim. Mr KT opted to stay dry and hold the clothes and camera.
