The Angry River

Walking Hollie today around the village of Halford near Craven Arms.

Mrs I is on her  'caring for the old folk' duties so I had the afternoon free and decided to check out the river and weir.

Glad I did, it was very exciting.

I had to tie Hollie up while I took photos, she would not have survived if she had gone in today. Even downstream the force of the river was very impressive. The quality is much improved if this image is viewed large (??)
