Alicante, nearly!

This is the nearest we got to a planned visit to Alicante.
The wind was too strong for us to dock so we had to keep out at sea.
The pilot (his boat is in the foreground) was seen heading off after he and the captain took the decision to not land.
According to seasoned cruisers (which we’re are not!) this is not an unusual event.
Arrived in Barcelona an evening earlier than expected.
