Boring photo of our Hall

It took us 13 years since moving in to this house to transform the hallway! It was the same carpet, same orange panelling and anaglypta wallpaper from 2005. Knew it would be a huge job to transform and cost A LOT and of course money was spent on holidays and family stuff rather than the transformation. Luckily we both didn’t care that it was old fashioned etc :).

So when we did get round to it and got it done , to this (and new doors etc upstairs) it was one of these moments where you can’t stop admiring it. We still need a new front door, that’s the last thing from the original stuff to be done. You can see the screwed up postbox as Breagha used to wait on the postie putting mail in and then rip it to bits. It was also the danger of the postie getting fingers nipped! A box was attached to the wall instead.

A very quiet day.
