Manda and Joe

In my somewhat messy hallway - i thought I’d tidied it up - Manda and Joe with their coats on waiting to leave.  Lovely having them here and seeing Manda reconnect with Ben and summon up the memory of a good ‘in house routine’. 

I started cooking early which meant that B, G and I managed a good long walk in the woods mid morning.  We spent the afternoon just lounging round after lunch watching Woody sing-a-long to the Succession theme tune and having a good laugh and gossip. 

Of course we were knackered when everyone left and once we’d cleaned up we slumped ont he sofa with some cheese and biscuits and watched the penultimate Last of Us (gory) and Wild Isles, the UK David Attenborough which was beautiful and timely…
