A sparra

The other day blipper Momcat1 posted a photo of a bird and l asked her what it was.  It was a song sparrow.  It looked so different to the sparrows we see that when l saw one of ours l thought l would blip it for her to see.
I have to say at this stage that sparrows are, sadly, quite rare in London now a days.

Watched the first of new David Attenborough series 'Wild Isles' last night- excellent.
