Her Nest is not Finished

The hummingbirds were back collecting material for their nest; I hope I see where the nest is located, but they are too fast to follow to their nest.

Today on the news I saw a video of a man who is on trial for murder escaping from our local county courthouse; it took me back to another time when I was a juror in that same courtroom when the defendant pulled out a gun when the guilty verdict was read. We ducked behind the flimsy bearer and his lawyer tried to talk him down. He backed out of the courtroom without shooting his gun, but moments later we heard a gunshot. Later we were told what happened. It was very sad. The judge assured all of us that we would never be called for jury duty again and the next week a metal detector was installed at the entrance to the courthouse.
