Today my heart was broken. I had bought tickets to see Maroon 5 with one of my best friends in June way back in September. We had the hotel booked, all of our plans made, and excitement bubbling away. Then Maroon 5 announced today that the UK tour was moving from June to January 2014, at the same time as my second year exams, meaning that after wanting to see them for years, and having finally got the opportunity to do so, I won't be able to see them after all.

Thankfully, when I was walking with Jamie for him to catch the bus back home today we had some time to kill so I bought Vampire Weekend's new album. It has really cheered me up! It's a fantastic album, and after just two listens I can safely say that I think it's their best album to date. I now have my heart set on seeing them at some point in the future!
