Sunday in early spring

Sunday started with an early morning trip to the allotment to harvest some of the freshly sprouting rhubarb. It was gently stewed and some of it used to make a breakfast smoothie combined with coconut milk, dates, ginger and cinnamon.

Later we walked by the sea at Emsworth, stopping at the bakery for our customary sausage roll, and then we wandered along to see the boats in the yacht yard. There was plenty of activity as with spring arriving, boats are being prepared to be put back into the water.

To round the day off Andy made pizza and redcurrant sponge for dinner.
