Mrs Pepperpot and I had a cuddle before we had to say goodbye. A few gentle tears.

The amazing Liverpool Philharmonic, starring the most handsome and talented of French horn players Mr M, and stunning oboist Ruth. It was so delightful to listen to them play again, especially knowing them from when I was a young gal.

Gianni Schicchi sorted out a problem with a will and some naughty relatives got their comeuppance. Bryn Terfel headed a terrific cast in an intimate concert performance under the guidance of Domingo Hindoyan. A stunning way to spend a Domingo afternoon.
