Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

Almost empty

Another rather rainy day.

We had our Sunday poached eggs this morning, and then emptied 6 mystery boxes of kitchen goodies.  Amongst the items discovered was this almost empty jar of marmalade, carefully wrapped in paper.  We also found mugs, glasses and other exciting stuff.  But we still haven't found the extra cutlery.

As mentioned previously, we paid for our removers to pack us up.  They were fantastic - we chatted to one who said they "just pack".  No thinking, no agonising, just pack everything quickly.  If we'd been doing the packing ourselves, we'd have got to this jar and spent at least 5 minutes discussing and agonising over whether to take it with us or throw it away.

Anyway, since it has travelled to Ireland, it will now be spread on our morning toast tomorrow.

We then went shopping, and spent rather a lot of money restocking the fridge and freezer.

We may finish the kitchen boxes tomorrow - though there's also admin to tackle - we need to find a local GP, and sign up with a refuse collection service.  We're creating A LOT of rubbish atm, I think we may be making trips to the local recycling centres.
