Vallay House

Wall to wall sunshine at home so I decided to go north. By the time I got there the clouds had arrived - I even got rained upon.
In the background, you can see Vallay Huose built by Beveridge at the turn of the 20th century but sadly made unihabitable by fire by the 1930s.
For keen fans of the Grand Tour, a.k.a Top Gear, this is where they created their pontoon. Some of the plastic slabs remain there.
