A special card

I first looked after Bertie and Sammy more than ten years ago, when Belinda and her husband had a trip to Australia to visit her son and family. 

When they got back, B gave me the above card, which I loved so much that it has been on permanent display ever since.

Now Belinda is suffering from oesophageal cancer and is currently being cared for in Strathcarron Hospice. 

Until recently she would join Liz, Nancy and me for Saturday coffee, so she was very much in our thoughts yesterday and continues to be so.
