Discovering the Moomins

I have to say until we were drawing up the programme for the current run of films in Colintraive (aka the Kyles Cinema) I had never heard of the Moomins- a generational thing it seems .

But today I was projecting, for a Sunday afternoon showing for families,  so I have now seen the Moomins on screen - and met these fifty year old Moomin dolls courtesy of one of our neighbours who was given them by her Finnish godmother.   

It's a varied life....
