Winter flowering jasmine [actually Forsythia!]

Don’t be fooled by the confident-sounding title. I have no idea of the difference between winter jasmine and forsythia, and I don’t think I’m alone in this because an internet search didn’t really help me.

Nevertheless, it’s a welcome splash of colour in our back garden at present. I'm pleased to say that there are at last some daffodils just beginning to emerge, which will supply some more sunshiney brightness, but they’re not properly out yet, so the winter jasmine it is. 

Unless it's forsythia.
