Can you believe it?

A 10K race, with local road closures advertised for the last two weeks, took place in Chester today. Cubs ran the drink station and volunteers monitored the road blocks and cheered heartily as each runner passed by. Then... this black car ignored the road block and attempted to drive in to the packs of runners. Volunteers tried their best to stop the car with physical force and reasoning, but the driver ploughed on.  I hope they got his number. 

The leading runners in extra at the 5K mark. They finished in the same position at 29;20 and 29;36. Well done Jonny and Omar. And well done volunteers who marshal these events. You shouldn't have to put up with D*** Heads like this.
