Big Saving

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Eldest Mini Princess,

Paddy is over from the Falkland Islands so a group of us had a great night catching up over dinner in the Doric.

I was sitting next to Jenk who had been in the doghouse with his wife, Sooj earlier in the week. They are doing work in their garden. Jenk had spotted a great deal on top soil (only £100) and ordered it.

Unfortunately the delivery guys couldn’t get the truck up the drive and had to leave it by the road to be brought in manually.

Except that Jenk had work appointments all day which left Sooj and her brother (who is doing the work in the garden) to do it.

Oh - did I mention that the order was 16 tonnes? It took them 2 days. Hence the doghouse!

PS I thought when I passed that it looked like an alien growing out of the tree. Didn’t translate quite as well in the photo!
