Life on the Good Intent

Borrowed Blossoms.

The weather forecast was so bad I didn't even take my camera to work (not that I would have had time anyway). It was a hot sultry but sunny day in Edinburgh - till the thunderstorms rolled in.
They hadn't arrived here when I got home and I was prowling in my front garden, camera in hand, when my neighbour spotted my desperation and offered me the run of her garden. I had my macro lens on so the dull light and stiff breeze meant many of her lovely flowers were not as sharp as hoped for. She is very excited as her wisteria is covered in flower buds for the first time. Lets hope for good light and I'll be back.

Better news from AnnieBScotland today. A continuing slight improvement and marked increase in determination to blip! Annie is sleeping less and 'eating like a horse' (sorry Annie that's what John told me). Still early days but the Consultant is pleased with her early progress. They have moved her to a ward from a single room, nice to have company but unfortunately no flowers allowed.
Annie's brother arrived from the US this morning and he and John's son Ian are visiting this evening. Once again they are all so appreciative of the fantastic support from Blipland. Annie's daughters have been charged with replying to all of the cards, so I suspect they are going to be very very busy.
