Sant Agnes
I was up and out early this morning as the ES church had organised a hike around a beautiful part of the island, plus a picnic afterwards. Danny's leg is still giving him a lot of trouble and there's no way he'd be up to hiking, so he and the kids stayed home. Brilliant to chat to various different people and to then enjoy this view from the top of our walk.
Home not long before Asha's friend Charlie was dropped off for the next 24 hours or so whilst her parents celebrate a birthday. After Asha's hard week, I was glad to say yes to looking after Charlie because I think some time with a good friend is what she needs. The 2 of them went off in search of the new 'bubble tea' cafe and then came and found me and Nate in the Port. Lovely to hang out in the sunshine and natter. A couple of extras added of the kids.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) This beautiful island.
2) Asha and Charlie's friendship.
3) A really lovely time wandering around town with Nate, listening as he nattered away.
