Daffs from the plot

A glorious day with the sun out and almost balmy weather! It started with some OU study and housework, but I escaped soon after 10 am with a pack lunch to make a day of it.
I managed to get all the perennials planted in the picking border and made a start on flattening the potato patch ready to put the cardboard and manure down. It was good to catch up with some old friends and meet 2 new arrivals. Five hours well spent. :-)
I popped into town to pick up a duvet and discovered the vegan market was on.  I managed to resist all the food and bathroom smellies, but there was a plant stall. Oops!
And another oops - forgot to take any pictures, so you have got the daffs that I picked on the plot yesterday, all opening nicely.
