Spring Event

This morning the Community Council organised a morning get together for anyone and everyone who wanted to come along. The local day centre gave us a free let, the local authority gave us a grant, so many neighbours contributed home baking and other goodies, table decorations were provided and the neighbourhood ice cream maker donated a big tub of excellent vanilla. There was a really good turn out and a very good age range. It was so good to see friends and neighbours and chat over a coffee and bit of cake. I've been feeling responsible for this morning's event and I'm pleased that it went well.

We're off to see this week's birthday girl in a few minutes - more cake and all three grandchildren having fun.

Last night's birthday party in Glasgow was great. Loved seeing R embracing her big milestone. I'm going to be partied out tonight but will try to do some blip.
