Hospital reading

Bit of a tome but very interesting.
At last there is a plan and I am due to have operation Monday or Tuesday.
Because of my heart condition it will be with local anaesthetic (plus gritted teeth I imagine!)
Not getting much rest as dementia patients cause a lot of disturbance. I am trying to hold onto my marbles!
Junior doctor strike may cause further delay. Now into my 4th week of hospitalisation and the experience is proving taxing!
