The Lune II

Despite all the snow warnings - and the sleet last night - we woke to just a dusting of snow on buildings and bright blue skies and sunshine.

It was another glorious day and with the warmth in the March sunshine the shorts were worn. Lots of walks with the dogs in the morning and afternoon. Our son drove down from Edinburgh - no problems - to meet his nephew and have lots of cuddles and I did various bits of shopping.

The evening sun created so many opportunities for photos. The architecture glowed in the light. But I particularly liked this view of the River Lune as it flowed to meet the sea.
