Finals day!

Carys was here all day. 9.15-15.45. Ballet class, physio assessment, rep and contemporary class. Only 16 kids and only two are British. Very few places available, some have already been allocated to White Lodge kids, Prix de Lausanne and other competition winners and to a few Japanese dancers (the school has a new sponsorship deal with a huge Japanese company). Not really holding my breath. Happy that she thinks she did herself justice and isn't beating herself up about anything. One of two girls from the whole of the country is just an amazing achievement.

On the downside I managed to leave our little suitcase on the train and it wasn't found when the train arrived at Cambridge! So much dance stuff in it and most frustratingly my crochet blanket! Hoping it will turn up in lost property.
