Stuck in the mud....

Still no snow here! This afternoon has in fact turned in to a lovely sunny affair, albeit a bit chilly!  If only it had been like that this morning when I decided to head out for a little wander after staying in yesterday!

I had rain, sleet,snow and strong winds to contend with as I made it to the creek! And very few birds about to see either, but there were 2 Avocets who were having fun trying to stay upright in the winds - even the mud wasn't helping them too much!  It's always nice to see the Avocets though, and this one has a poorly leg but returns every year to wallow in the muddy banks!
