Launch in a barn

Day in the office but on a zoom all morning doing script notes from director to the writer.   Then into a meeting with the team,  followed by one with an actor who is pitching a book he’s written which is a big hit on Audible.  We might well go for the rights.  

Travelled home in a lot of rain and was picked up by V at the station.  As I am doing restricted eating (within an 8 hour window) he brought us a supper of vegetable stew and quiche to eat in the car. A kind of Winter picnic, delicious and thoughtful.  We were going to the launch of the Petersfield Shakespeare Festival run by our friends Lucy and Chris.  The launch event took place in this medieval barn and they announced their next play was going to be Twelfth Night hence the Christmas trees down the end I think.  Or that could be because the venue where they play it is a Christmas Tree Farm…
