I think I finally know why I get inconsistent results with my telephoto - atmospheric disturbance. Thank goodness for sharpening programs. 

Ukraine is building a wind farm. The wind farm was begun before the 2022 invasion but when they realized that Ukraine would eventually win they resumed construction. The company is DTEK and they have a plan to build 30 GW of clean energy, which is massive. Ukraine’s coal mines were becoming depleted and obsolete. They are hoping to export renewable based electricity and hydrogen to Europe. In terms of security, it is harder to destroy wind turbines and solar panels because fossil fuel plants are singular, larger, and tougher to rebuild. Turbines and panels are spread out. You hit one, there are others left. 

The EU announced last month that they hope to provide solar panels for the roofs of hospitals, schools, fire departments, and other public buildings. 

There is an 11 year old Ukrainian girl named Veronika who is feeding stray cats. Her apartment building was destroyed and her cat, by the time they found her, was feral. She began feeding her outside. 

Latvia is sending cars confiscated from drunk drivers to Ukraine. If your blood alcohol is 3x the legal limit your vehicle can be seized and sold by the government. The government has pledged to give 24 cars a week to a Latvian charity that gives them to Ukraine.
