Woke up to discover a dusting of snow over all that I could see from my window so proceeded to have a quiet at home day. Good choice as constant and cold rain was the best that the afternoon skies could offer. Tortie is indoors, her basking lamp in the kitchen and lounge fire as posted last week (here) compensating for the lack of mediterranean sun.  Brief visits from family members, but otherwise a quiet evening. 

It had been my intention to find a photo subject appropriate for Women's Day, but well, ended up just with a pic of Tortie tucking in to her lettuce.
