The Scafells from Bowfell

Debs birthday, so we walked up mountains. She did say it was the best birthday ever. 

Managed Rosset Pike, Esk Pike and Bowfell in generally sunny conditions, but pretty icy, with occasional winds that made it feel really cold. The view across to Scafell Pike and Scafell was particularly lovely. Bowfell is so often quiet, despite being the 5th highest mountain in the country. 

A great day, but very tough walking, totally knackered at the end.
