Can't be without...

Sparrow Grass at this time of year.

A daily fix is essential!! I love to roast it with olive oil and a little salt.. or steam it and eat it with balsamic and olive oil. Alternatively to have it with a little hollandaise sauce is a serious indulgence.. but even just steamed and eaten as a vegetable alongside your main meat is just heaven. Just take care not to overcook it..

I am so lucky that I have a farm very near by that sells it fresh from the fields.. mmm
