Sedbergh WI Bookclub

A trip into town this morning. Home for lunch. Then I attended my Bookclub. This month we had been reading An American Marriage by Tayari Jones. It’s the story of a black couple who get arrested for attacking another character a despite not having done it, the man gets a 10 year sentence. There a number of themes going through the book, the most obvious being racism and it’s cleverly written. Everyone enjoyed it.
