Surf's Up!

Today has been spent sailing en route to New Island in the Falklands, which we will be exploring tomorrow.

Other than having all our external gear inspected thoroughly for any signs of seeds, dirt, penguin poop, etc. which we may have inadvertently picked up during our adventures in Antarctica, not much to report today!  (The reason for the inspections is so that no foreign material is brought to these remote places, and accidental importation of non-native species does not occur.)

During lunch on the pool deck, we heard great booming sounds, and realized that it was the pool water sloshing back and forth wildly as we made our way through the swells.  This image is a still from a little video that I made and then "faffed" to make it a little more interesting.

PS:  No one went swimming today!
