Song thrush

Another beautiful clear blue, sunny and frosty morning. Despite the chill it's a lovely day and just right for a wander listening to and observing bird life. Today I've seen chaffinch, sparrows, dunnock, blackbirds, swans, teal and mallard all doing their spring thing. But the lovely song thrush makes the cut today. There were four of them busy finding something to eat and singing loudly. I had other possible blips which showed the sunshine but this is the clearest of the bird and least cluttered with trees, grass etc.

Having coffee and a bit of leftover birthday cake. I'll hang the freshly washed towels out, they might freeze I suppose, then walk to the shops. I need things for the weekend and, all being well, next week.

Another pal reaches her milestone birthday today. Goodness me!
