Day off

Got up at a reasonable time.
Took Scout out and bumped into El. We stood and had a lovely chat about church/not church and reevaluating stance etc.

Then I just cleaned downstairs floors and walls by font door and put three loads of washing through.
It’s so nice to have ‘time’ to clean and sort the house!

I didn’t get up to mom’s till just after 4. It turned out that she had got herself down and worried about her hospital appointment tomorrow. I was really annoyed at myself for not getting to her sooner …. but it was nice to get something in my own house done.

As I walked the dogs down to the high street to meet Cathie from school, I felt loved and blessed and that God was there and cared and that there were a number of people in my life that cared and that felt ‘opening up’ to new and good things. So pleasant after such a long period of feeling the opposite.
After walking home with Cathie that feeling seemed to have been squashed again….but I know it was there and I’ll fight to let it live again!
Had dinner then walked the dogs back to mom’s then back home.
