Icy tracks.   It is strange how there are lines of melting snow crystals on the window but possibly they were tracks of water which had frozen before the snowflakes fell. The individual crystals had been obvious before I decided to take a photo when they were starting to melt.   The extra shows some icy puddles which were starting to freeze again after a tractor had driven along the track earlier crushing the ice which was about two centimetres thick.
Later : there are now about 2 cms of snow glittering under the moonlight.
