View from a window

Cold and bright this morning but turned very wintry this afternoon. Headed to the garage for my 10.30 appointment to have the wing mirror replaced. Apparently the appointment was yesterday but they could fit me in. Erm, no it was booked for today so we didn’t have to worry about Phin.

I’d taken my crochet with me to get on with some if edging squares I’ll need for the temperature blanket so I didn’t mind waiting. However there had been an error in the delivery so the parts which arrived were for a left side when it’s the right side that needs replaced. Wrongly labelled supposedly. Rebooked fir next week. Only 2 hours wasted (there and back and time taken sitting around).

Returned items to M&S and popped into IKEA to pick up some throws and new pillows. Home to sort out what to take tomorrow which was tricky as we’ve got limited space in the boot. Phin will be lying in state on his bed in the back seat!

Did a bit of ironing and heated up leftover pie (from new year) in the air fryer for dinner.

Booked a few wee breaks away and finally managed to book an excursion in Sicily when our cruise ship visits there in May. Been waiting in these being released for a while.

A little concerned that the weather will out paid to our trip to Scotch corner tomorrow to collect the caravan but we will see what the weather does overnight. The wee fall we had earlier has pretty much melted away. We will call in the morning to check conditions locally before we set off.
