Malham Cove

This is one of my favourite places. It's incredibly dramatic and the limestone pavement with its strange shapes and steep gullies is both fascinating to looks at and fun to scramble over. This is the first time we have taken the boys and they loved it! An extra bonus today was views of a peregrine nest and the chicks. We also saw the adult birds doing an amazing twisting dive with claws entwined, passing food in mid air.
