International Women’s Day

I know some amazing women…they are beautiful, inspiring, awesome, clever, funny, intelligent, brave, caring and damn fine human beings. Pictured are some of them:

Women who are always there, friends who will listen when life is tough, who support, who do crazy things with you, who will laugh and cry with you.

Women who are inspiring…they take on challenges and get you involved or help you achieve your own goals. They will also join in your crazy schemes.

Women who make you laugh until you do actually wet yourself.

Women who you work alongside and are fabulous team members. They help you when you start a new career, they support you, they make the bad days better and the good days great.

Women who leave a massive hole in your heart when they die.

Women who suffer loss but are stronger day by day.

Women who have talents that they share with you.

Women you may no longer see but they played a part in your life and shouldn’t be forgotten.

There are so many attributes that make women strong. We may not always be as physically strong as men but in this day and age we are still fighting for equality. Mrs Pankhurst and all the suffragettes started a fight that has come a long way, but there is still some way to go.

So…..stand proud all you women, you are amazing.
