Transplanting trees

A glorious busy day with my children yesterday. We miss their daddy, but besides that, my father's house in the summertime (it has been like summer all weekend) is a place of oasis and bliss for me. Yesterday involved R creating and building a unique birdfeeder, C "helping" his Grumpy replant some trees, a trip to the local splash pad, a nap(!!!), a delicious dinner of ribs and salads, and a multigenerational battle in "name that tune" with R and her grandfather taking turns (so much easier in the age of satellite radio and iTunes!

We will head back today (Monday - I'm posting a day behind) and it will be back to reality tomorrow, but we will be back soon, I hope.
