Goodbye Yew

Woke up to snow this morning. Traffic was chaos of course but it melted and turned into sleeting rain by lunchtime.

A productive day of conservation work. Getting through the to do list. Grateful for the volunteering work as a distraction from delayed work projects.

Goodbye yew tree. Sad to see this tree cut down today at the castle. It was encroaching on the stoneworks by the Barbican apparently and deemed unsafe. The rich colours in the centre of the trunk were incredible.

Finally back blipped… 26 entries and I’m now up to date.
