Destruction

Last night our village fish and chip van caught fire and was destroyed. Thankfully the owners, Michael and Pam, were unhurt and their quick action in removing their gas cylinders prevented a much worse incident. The fire brigade were in attendance and extinguished the blaze.  They have been in touch with their insurers and now begin the waiting game. They are simply wonderful people and they serve very tasty food. We treat ourselves each week. They visit a different village each weekday. It would have been our turn tonight.
