Sweet White Violet

At the risk of turning my journal into a flora jamboree, here is yet another flower. I found it as I paddled through the mud in the woods! Also known as Wood Violet and English Violet. Fortunately I still had the mini tripod and macro lens in my bag…and better still I discovered my little LED panel in the side pocket!

I did try to create a focus stack but the flower was moving around in the breeze, so I just used one shot from the sequence.

Some light snow flurries about today, but nothing that has settled!

I have added an extra today…some birds in the garden….I love the blue tit diving in…“Look, Ma - no hands,”…well it made me laugh!
