The Shipbuilders of Port Glasgow.

I blipped this sculpture (aka The Skelpies)  by John McKenna a couple of times just over a year ago.   It still had the protective fences around it.

I wanted to get a new set for ArtUK without the fences.   Got a decent set of pictures today although the bright sun was a problem with some angles. And I'll clone out those pigeons before I send them!  I'll have to add to it with some shots of it illuminated at night when I get a chance. 

In the background is the Glen Sannox which blippers from this part of the world will be aware of as it is one of two much delayed replacement Ferries still being built after a long delay and increasing costs.
