The Local

This is one of the three 'locals' in town, and the newest of the three by far, having only opened a few years ago. It's very much a craft beer bar rather than a traditional pub, and they serve some very good beers, particularly the American-style IPA's that I am rather fond of.  On a summer's evening it can be very pleasant sitting at one of the outside tables watching the world go by and even when the weather isn't so good, it's nice to sit inside.  However, even if they had been open, 9.00am on a very cold Wednesday morning wasn't the ideal time to be having a quick one.
