La selva plana

The morning was perfect for our delayed walk: bright sunshine and a cooling breeze blowing across the plateau where we saw an amazing variety of plants, orchids, euphorbias, wild garlic, broom, two varieties of lentisk and much more. Lo Jardinièr has so far identified 40 and is still looking at his photos and reference books to identify others. I'm sure he will post an account on his blog soon. It's a wild (apart from the power cables!) and very rich area and it was a delight to be up there this morning.
