A square mile of heaven

The most beautiful spot in the whole Lake District in my opinion. It is down Borrowdale , not far from The Bowder Stone but they are as different as chalk and cheese.
The Bowder Stone is a popular tourist attraction and everyone makes a beeline to it from the car park. However if you head the opposite way, you enter an amphitheatre of sheer delight with not a single person in sight.
